■ Entries invited for fundraising run

Entries are being invited for a fundraising run in neighbouring Bourn.

The Bourn to Run event, on Sunday, September 26, will raise funds for the village school and Bourn Sports Club.

There are two runs on offer, 3km or 10km, both scenic routes around Bourn Hall, where the events start at 10.30am.

There are early bird discounts for entrants to the 10km run before July 31 at www.fabian4.co.uk.

It is £10 before then, £12 afterwards, with places restricted to over-16s.

Anyone can tackle the shorter course, but under-10s must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission for this is £4 for over-16s, £3 for youngsters.
