A mum-of-four with a passion for African cooking has set up a new business.

Sunkanmi Ariyibi, from Cambourne, has launched Africfood, a company which offers authentic African food for individuals, companies and event organisers.

Mrs Ariyibi, who is a single mum, cooks all of the dishes at her home and imports all of the ingredients from Africa, including exotic items like garri and yam.

Mrs Ariyibi said starting her own cooking business has been a life-long ambition.
She said: "I have always wanted to do this for as long as I can remember.

“I have loved cooking from a young age and love making people feel good by feeding them.
“Things have been going really well since I started the business and it’s great to see more and more people enjoying African food.”

Her daughters are also involved in the business and help her in the kitchen.

Africfood is currently offering free sample deliveries to offices in and around Cambridge and Cambourne.
